Patience Please w/ASCEND
Many of you have
voiced a desire to quote ASCEND commercial refrigeration because of its quality
and pricing in lieu of True. As most of
you have discovered it is hard to make a sale quoting True since everyone is
quoting it. Also, as most of you know ASCEND is the best quality
alternative. Unfortunately, many dealers
around the country have also discovered the same thing so they also are now
selling ASCEND in lieu of True. While this is great for ASCEND it is not so
good for you, because you may find it difficult to get an ASCEND as a
replacement for True.
There are two reasons for this:
Reason one being that demand is much higher than
current production capacity. JIMEX had
no idea that the demand for their products was going to be so high so they did
not gear-up their production forecast to meet the current demand. However, they are doing everything that they
can to increase production to meet demand while keeping the quality at high
levels. So a little
patience here, please.
Reason two being that JIMEX has an ambitious program
of designing and releasing new models to compete against True. However, since demand is so high for their
current in production units they are having a difficult time finding production
space for their new lines. Then, when
they start production on a new line the inevitable quality issues arise and
JIMEX will not introduce a new line that does not meet their high quality
standards, so this slows down the introduction schedule. So, patience is necessary here too – you do
not want to sell equipment that does not meet your standards and neither do we.
